* One day licenses for these categories only. @ U23 riders must be Cat. 1/2/3 or Expert. The prize list can be cumulated with A prizes.
** For the fun/citizen ride and kids race, competitors must not hold a USA Cycling license and not compete any other race in the day. The course for these races is less than 1 mile long, on the grass, and without any technical difficulty. All entrants must sign a release form to receive a race number.
Any bike is accepted, but must not be dangerous for others. Mountain bikes must be free of bar ends.
*** Entrants can purchase one day licenses for $5, which include an insurance coverage from USA Cycling (strongly recommended).
Any rider giving back his/her number at the end of the day will receive two discount coupons for Pizza Hut.
Eligibility: These are USCF sanctioned races. All USCF rules apply. You must present a valid 2007 USCF license at registration to enter any race. Only Category 5 Men and Category 4 Women who do not have a valid racing license may purchase a one-day license for $10.00 at registration.
Registration: Onsite registration only. Opens at 9:00 am EDT. Second race: $15. Riders must give back the number of the first race to enter the second race. Proceeds of the event will be donated to the West Lafayette Police Lodge (to buy Christmas gifts for children in need).
Prizes: Total prize list will be $3500 cash + merchandise and medals.
Series information:
The event is taking place in Fort Ouiatenon Park, 3129 S River Rd. West Lafayette, IN. From I65 South: use exit 172 and follow Road 26 until Road 231 in West Lafayette. From I65 North: use exit 178 and follow Road 43 until Road 231 in West Lafayette.
In both cases, follow Road 231 South for about 1 mile until you see a traffic light. Turn right, and immediately left on South River Road. From Road 231 South: When arriving close to West Lafayette, turn twice left at the traffic light right after Wabash River and go on South River Road.
In all cases, continue on South River Road for about 3 miles and enter Fort Ouiatenon on the left. Park in parking areas and, please, respect the rules of the park indicated at the entrance of the parking lot.
